"My mommy knew that was room in her heart for another fur kid, and boy, am I a lucky guy!  My former master was very elderly, and he ended up having to give me up.  Bichon FurKids, a great organization specializing in Bichon Frise rescue in Southern California, contacted my mommy and told her all about me.  You see, I'm almost 8 years old, and most people want younger dogs (although I am very cute and a real snugglebug).  My mommy loved me at first sight, and now I have a warm bed I share with mommy, a full tummy and oodles of love everyday.

"My mom rescued me from the pet store (yup, pet store puppies have to be rescued too!), on her way to buy a pair of shoes.  Our eyes met, and before I knew it, I was being bundled into the car and on the way to my new home.  I was 8 weeks old, and really happy to be out of that tiny cage.  I met my older brother Spencer that day, and he showed me the ropes since he had been with my mom since he was 6 weeks old.  Because Spencer was so much older than me, he didn't want to play as much as I did, but he was a really great brother.  Spencer unexpectedly went to heaven when I was 8 and he was 13, and I really missed him for a long time. My mom knew that and she kissed and hugged me a lot and now I am back to my happy self again.

I was 5 when my mommy saw me online, placed there by FOCUS, a privately funded rescue organization in Chula Vista.  Gina brought me up from my temporary digs in CV to meet my new mommy and it was love at first sight.  Now she isnt well so its my turn to look after her and she says I do a great job.  My name is Buddy and I am a Dandie Dinmonte.  We live on the beach now and I meet many many fur friends, many adopted, during my travels.  My mommy has used products from Hottydog and they are super.
